La Fondation Crédit Agricole Solidarité et Développement and Le Crédit Agricole du Languedoc give their financial support to Equiphoria’s research program. A clinical trial has been launched on a hippotherapy program aiming to help rebuild a person’s self-confidence, self-esteem and wellness after breast cancer. This study is done with the collaboration of le Centre de Cancérologie du Grand Montpellier and Montpellier Institut du Sein.

KLESIA Méditerranée joins forces with Equiphoria.
KLESIA Méditerranée dedicated the 9th edition of its ‘Solidaire’ initative to Equiphoria. Over the course of a week, KLESIA staff took part in workshops at Equiphoria. The collected funds go towards Equiphoria’s experimental program for victims of breast cancer and will enable the first patients to take part in this program.
TESS© has arrived!
TESS© (Therapeutic Equine Simulator System) is a huge step forward in hippotherapy. The tool that helps patients prepare for riding a horse was developed by Equiphoria in collaboration with Racewood Simulator. It is the focus of a pilot study, financed by BPI and supported by Transferts LR. TESS© has been funded in parts by the Fondation RTE and AG2R La Mondiale.
Symposium at Equiphoria on hippotherapy and autism
The conference, addressed to medical and welfare professionals, revolved around the presentation of a clinical case of a young woman with autism spectrum disorder that showed spectacular results after undoing a therapy at Equiphoria. It was organized by Dr. Saulus, MD, who sits on Equiphoria’s scientific committee. A panel discussion with professor Jean-Philippe Boulenger, psychiatrist, professor Pierre Delion, child psychiatrist and head of department at Lille University Hospital, Dr. Diana Ribereau, adult psychiatrist at Montepellier University Hospital, and Johan De Groef, psychologist at the Institution Sint Franciscus in Brussels, followed a documentary by Equiphoria’s psychologist Délphine Corbeau.
The discussions, which focused on the scientific validation of this type of therapy, resulted in a series of working hypotheses.
